• Esperance Port Authority Feeders

The iron ore feeders for the Esperance Port Authority are another example of Tierney Contracting Pty Ltd's operation of all projects in house.

All components were fabricated and assembled in the company's yard, with Tierney Coating Services handling all areas of surface treatment. As the feeders were fabricated to upgrade an old plant, the client, Portman Management, decided that the new feeders would require modifications to enhance efficiency and make maintenance more accessible. Tierney Contacting Pty Ltd provided input to all aspects of these design changes.

Site works incorporated the installation of the new iron ore feeders in line with the existing plant, on a tight schedule, to maintain the operation's continued output. As there were no unforeseen hold ups during commissioning, the new feeders went into full production ahead of schedule.
